About:
Bryan Passifiume is a journalist serving as city hall reporter for the Toronto Sun. Prior to that, he was the crime reporter for the Calgary Sun and Calgary Herald. His 20+ career in journalism began as a television news photographer, news producer and studio director before transitioning to writing for and editing newspapers across Canada. In 2007 he was nominated for a National Newspaper Award for his coverage of that year’s devastating wildfires in Waterton Lakes National Park in southwestern Alberta.
