About:
Cory Morgan is a Canadian columnist and political commentator based in Alberta, currently serving as a senior Alberta columnist for the Western Standard. His writing focuses on Western Canadian politics, federal–provincial relations, individual rights, and regional autonomy. In addition to his media work, Morgan has professional experience in energy-sector surveying, giving him practical insight into resource development and regional economic issues. He has been involved in Alberta politics for decades, including founding and executive roles in several provincial political movements. Morgan brings a long-standing, regionally grounded perspective to debates about governance, autonomy, and political representation in Western Canada.
