About:
Negar Mojtahedi is a Vancouver-based Canadian journalist and award-winning filmmaker currently working with Iran International (English), where she reports on human rights, the Iranian diaspora, and current events in Iran. She hosts the weekly podcast Eye for Iran, examining political repression, social change, and the global impact of the Iranian regime. Mojtahedi previously worked as a reporter, writer, and producer with major Canadian broadcasters including Global News, CTV, and CBC. In addition to journalism, she has directed and contributed to internationally recognized documentaries focused on Iranian identity and exile. Her work combines investigative reporting with long-form storytelling to bring Iranian issues to international audiences.
